Originally this post as scheduled for Monday, however it seems that I still need to learn thing or two about the WordPress ways of scheduling blog posts. I’m sorry if it’s bit later. I also had bit of bad luck with the images, and ended up re-shooting them to get them up the my usual standard.
How was your Halloween guys? I hope it was fab, yeah I know I’m asking this question literally a week after Halloween but you know me, it’s my favourite time of the year so what else would l be asking. Now that all the chaos of posting the vlogs and Halloween related stuff, which of course I am still going to publish sooner or later but before I do that I have few more posts, which are bit more exciting as I was kindly contacted by some brands in order to show you what they have to offer. And the first brand is Anchor and Rose London as the name suggests it’s a London based brand, which has a street wear inspired clothing, and the main thing that I was excited to be collaborating with them for this post and few more to come is the amazing illustration that graces their t-shits, but they also have sweatshirts and hoodies to offer! The style reminds me a lot of the skater type clothing, and in some ways it makes me want to start learning how to skateboard. I do own one, just never learned how to skateboard properly, maybe that I do have the clothes for the occasion it’s the time to learn.
As much as I love my all black everything fashion, high heels, leather, and elegant clothing, the truth is if I am not going anywhere, or shooting blog posts, to give you bit of an inspiration and give myself a reason to wear the clothes I would otherwise not really wear, since at the moment my social calendar is bit blank. However on my usual days you can see me wearing jeans, boots or creepers just like a pair right here, and a nice oversized t-shirt. I much prefer the male or unisex fit of a long sleeve tops, they fit much nicer on a body and are much more comfortable! With this look I actually wanted to mix the two sides of my style, the casual one and a bit elegant one, I think that if you mix just a nice loose top with a jeans and a duster coat the effects are perfect for running errands for a days when you don’t want to go all out with your fashion but still want to look put together. My friend named this look homeless-chic, I myself wouldn’t go that far, but I guess with it being literally just thrown together I guess skate grunge is a better name. Just throw a flannel in and we’ve got literal grunge aesthetic! I’m joking. Or may I?
Anyway, that’s it from me for today. I hope you like how I styled this awesome top, which btw is already stained from my green hair, not to self, if you wear white, it will be stained. Luckily, green is one of my favourite colours so it’s not that bad. Let me know what are your thoughts on mixing different styles together and do you do it often or do you stick to one particular style? I would love to know! Hope you’ll have a lovely day!
