Hello! Yes, I’m alive and this post is really late, I am sorry. The past month has been a very hectic one, for well mainly one reason. I moved! Twice! First off, I moved back to my parents from living on my own in London for nearly a year to Aylesbury. And than right after London Fashion Week has ended me and my family packed our bags once again and made another move, but this time to Manchester! I know. What?! If I have to be honest, I could’ve stayed in London, I’ve already been supporting myself for a year, but I’ve wanted to do more. You see I believe in order to improve we must always learn, whenever it’s from others, books, studies, internships ect. I’ve wanted to spend less time in a job that made me unable to really do what I enjoy and love and that’s blogging, writing and styling! Sure, I’ve done some of these things here and there but do I believe I’ve been doing them to my full potential. No. That was one of my biggest issues. I would rather create less content put create something that really matters to me, otherwise, what’s the point? However when spending so many hours on something I didn’t enjoy killed my creativity and motivation. And instead of doing, I was just sitting there, making empty promises, hoping to actually do something the moment I said I will. And well, it never happened.
I cannot even tell you how it annoys me! Because I really enjoy blogging, and sharing my opinion and styling and all of it. I will really put some effort once my internet situation is sorted out, as currently I am internetless until Thursday! But I will try my best, I already have so many cool things planned along with a blog revamp! I know, I’ve done so many of those but I feel like this next one will be the final one! Not only because I feel like this blog needs a bit of refresher aesthetic wise but couple of days ago this blog has turned 4 years old! I know! What the actual… I can say with hand on my heart, that this blog has been my longest commitment to date, and I don’t get committed easily. Is bit funny looking back where I started, back in 2012, just out of boredom, creating this blog, and writing my first post I sure had dreams but never thought they would actually happen! Thanks to this blog I made friendships with other fellow bloggers like Josh and Jodie, I got to write and style editorials and shoots for Meade Magazine, which was one of many dreams that in some weird way I didn’t even took seriously because I never thought it could happen! I got to meet so many other bloggers and creatives in the fashion industry one of them being Leroy who I’m also happy to call one of my friends in this crazy industry. I got meet and work with brands that I only seen on the pages of big fashion magazines, which even now is kind of “WTF?!” think for me to think about! In the best way possible.
This blog has shown me my way though life, well at least it gave me some sort of direction of what I want to do with my life. And when thinking of it, it’s weird how that a diction that took 5 seconds out of my day has literally changed my life. I cannot even imagine my life without this little space on the internet I can call mine! When I get the engagement with you guys, my lovely readers on my social media, or you comment on any of the blog posts it literally makes my day! I cannot even tell you how many times I’ve sobbed (I’m not even kidding) because of a lovely comment/s or because I actually got to form friendships though this blog. It’s so crazy to think about! I’m wondering where this blog will be in the next 4 years, where that will take me. Over the years I had so many people asking me whenever they should start a blog. And my answer is always yes! Because for me that diction was the best one I’ve ever made!
Apart from wearing this outfit of course… I’m totally kidding! But this Bravado Guns ‘n’ Roses top is one of my favourites from my band tee collection, when it comes to band t-shirts you either get the true vintage kind that is soft like hell, and you sometimes get your favourite band on the t-shirt that has the quality of a potato, which means you mostly likely aren’t too keen on wearing it. Unless you like to wear a potato, I don’t judge. And as I am always behind in literally everything, the reason why I’m wearing shorts in here despite the fact that this time of year the shorts weather is long gone (unless you pair it up with tights) it’s because originally I’ve shot this outfit on July, and than I somehow lost the images, as I’m clever like that, so re shot last month when the weather was kind enough for me to wear shorts and not freeze to death! Weirdly enough, boots and shorts are one of my favorite fashion combinations, there’s something incredibly flattering in boots paired with shorts, I’ve worn my Docs, hands down one of my favourite shoes in my collection! It’s a classic! And as always a backpack, tattoo choker, because I guess my high fashion sense of style is long gone!
I hope I didn’t bore you to death with this long ass blog post, but I felt like I had to catch up a bit after my absence, I cannot wait to share with you other stuff I’m doing! It’s going to be epic! (pst. think Halloween) I hope you’re having an amazing day, and please tell me how long have you been blogging and what impact it had on your life. Also thank you so much for supporting me for however long you’ve been it really means a lot! I love you all! x x x
