STYLE | STREETS OF VERA

Don’t you just love when you’re stuck for content and I don’t mean it in a way that I don’t have any content to show, I have so much to show you that would last me for a month I think. The thing that for me to show you the outfits I’ve been shooting for the past two weeks I need to post two goodies posts and well, let’s just say they are not ready and I don’t want to rush them in anyway and these posts always take me the longest to write, and no it’s not an excuse for me not posting them now, I just want to make them up to my high standard.
Ok, who else feels this overwhelming happiness when you find an old pair of shoes long forgotten or a lipstick you really loved but never ended up using and just forgot? Probably most of us. It’s actually hilarious how much image content i have lying around somewhere  and never end up posting it! Or I lose 60GB worth of images… I swear the next hard drive I will be using will have a usb cable glued to it! But at least I got these images back. I’ve thought of sharing these images with you, shot around 2 years on my holiday in sunny Spain!

I definitely can’t say I miss the weather, as right now it’s around 22 degrees in London and it may not sound a lot but the humidity is on the next level! In Spain that’s definitely a normal temperature, for autumn I guess. But is it just me or does the heat seem even bigger in the cities? In Spain you are able to at least breath, well at least this small town me and my family were staying in.  Anyway, I woke up this morning with an urge to blog, and when I feel like blogging I take advantage of it, because we all know how many times I went days or weeks without a blog post! However recently I’ve been on top of my blogging, I’m quite proud not going to lie, but than again maybe I shouldn’t, it’s my passion to blog so I should blog without pressure. Than again, having that pressure put on you helps sometimes, let’s face it, we all get touch lazy at times so the kick in the butt is needed. And not only in terms of blogging, this applies to job, education and well anything in life, and I’m not going to lie when it comes to kicking my butt my best friend Josh as well as my parents are masters at this, let me just say!

And this morning while looking through my drafts on blogger, I’ve found this outfit. And I found it quite interesting, not as an outfit, no. I’ve noticed how my style has changed in the past two years but than again there are still some aspects of it that remain the same, like my love for jeans, plain white tee’s, flannels, or studded shoes. I am so sad that I don’t have those anymore! They died natural death, or I killed them. Regardless, I am in the hunt for another pair, and let’s me just say Depop is quite good for it. I am addicted to it, which isn’t the best thing for my band account but ah well. By the way I have also opened up my own Depop store where I will be selling my clothes, accessories, make up and other stuff and most of it is in very good condition and I’m selling it quite cheap. So follow me on Depop and buy my shit. Please! It’s a great way for me to get rid of some of the stuff I don’t wear or use and declutter my life a bit. How about you? How do you feel about finding items or photos you long forgotten about? Comment below and have an amazing Sunday!

Oh! The faces I can pull when (re)finding some old gems I initially totally forgotten about but -when found- suddenly become the most adored items I've ever owned… *sigh* Only the thought makes you almost want to go out and look behind every cupboard or under your bed… 😉

    Love,
    Dominique
