It’s almost a week until my holiday, and weirdly, I am quite exited about it, because the last time I was there I was super productive, in terms of blogging and punching out those articles like there’s no tomorrow. I feel like mostly, it’s because where I will be staying there’s no internet connection so there isn’t any real chance for me to procrastinate like I usually do, and it’s such a contradiction as internet is being a necessary for what I want to do but at the same time it’s a massive distraction from it. So can you win? How can you keep focused on what’s keeping you distracted? And as I’m writing this, I’m creating another playlist on my Spotify and let me tell you there’s lots of nostalgia going on, but I’m trying to keep focused as I have lots to do. Thanks a lot internet for being so distractive!
However, as I said, I have a “to do” list that by the end of today must be complete, as I will damn make sure it will be. What I found works for me to stay focused is to have a physical and mental check list, and times I want to get certain things done, or a time where I want to get them done. And this has been working for me for years, it keeps in a somehow a routine, even know I slowly am getting that routine back on the blog, I want to perfect it and after couple of years of doing it, it shouldn’t be that hard shouldn’t it?! Well, unfortunately, there are, but because right now I am in the place where I am much more focused, motivated and have something to work forward to with goals in mind that keep me on my toes it’s so much easier to jump back into that routine. Which will help both me and as well as you my lovely readers as you will have certain days you’ll know when to expect a blog post from me. Let me get the proper schedule in place and I will keep you informed! I was wondering whenever any of you may have certain tips and tricks to keep your blog routine going?
Actually, I’ve noticed, I may have a certain routine going for this blog, well not as my blog but more of my style, but there two things go hand in hand I guess I can call it a blog routine. There’s nothing wrong with, having something like a fashion routine and wearing the same things, makes someones style. Sure, I am all about trying different things and experimenting with fashion, because you never know what could become that staple piece. Especially if I am so privilege to have the access to the newest trends and designers and all this style dictionary right in front of me so why wouldn’t I experiment with fashion? Why should anyone just put themselves in a box and be shut from all these opportunities of experimenting with fashion? Yes, I am fully aware that not everyone has the same access just like I do, that’s why I’ve always looked it as a privilege but that’s the beauty of the internet (and bloggers, without sounding vain) but thanks to it, the access to all those things open. And here I am. Wearing an outfit that I would totally wear 1 year ago, 2 years ago or even 4 years ago! In some way the more I am open to trends the more I realize that I know my style and what’s it about and it’s fine to play with ones style, but as long there’s core it, that’s when you won’t get lost and overwhelmed with the fast pace that the fashion industry is going! At this moment, this outfit totally defines my style, it’s my perfect outfit, at least for this time of the year. Heels, textures, leather and choker. For sure my 16 year old self would be proud for wearing this. Maybe I am stuck in time after all.
