When I have woke up today, the first thing that came to my mind was ‘PHOTO SHOOT!’ The reason for that was sun! The days in London are becoming warmer day by day, it really felt like the summer was finally coming! Also I had this outfit planned for weeks, and I am so happy to share it with you, guys! Who else seen an item of clothing on the shop floor, and it stays in your mind for, hours, days or weeks. I had this situation while ago. When I have seen those trousers in Primark few weeks ago, I couldn’t stop thinking about them. The minute I have seen them I knew EXACTLY how I would style it! But before we’ll continue let me explain why I fall in love with them, as some of you who know my style might think that these trousers are too sporty for me.
Please, don’t take the title of this post badly. The reason why I have named this outfit post ‘Donna Karan can hide’ is because of the trousers I’m wearing here. They really remind me of Donna Karan designs, specially the S/S 14 collection! And they have NYC written all over them, and Donna Karan is a designer form New York, ughh obvious much?!
Looks like this season I’m becoming more open to sporty clothes than I have before 🙂 That’s defiantly a good thing, I have said this before and will say it again. It’s important to try lots of things and not limit yourself! But I love elegance as well! Elegance is and always will be timeless, it will always be present during every season and won’t fade away. Hopefully! The moment I’ve seen those trousers I knew that I would wear them with stiletto heels and white blazer (black blazer can work with this outfit as well). I guess this outfit is a combination of NYC sporty, think about Donna Karan and Alexander Wang (the fabric used on the bag reminded me of his work) British punk (heels). And french Chanel elegance (blazer and pearl necklace). I find it amazing how high street brands can imitate the work of great designers! What do you think of such a combination of different styles and aesthetics for each of designers or brands?
