Music Monday: Eve- Yasmine

After some time I have decided to dedicate Mondays for music. I know few very talented artists who deserve the recognition. The first Music Monday I will introduce you to Eve- Yasmine!

Eve- Yasmine is a 19 year old fresh Soul/Pop music artist, born in London with a mix of British, Moroccan and Spanish roots. In April 2012 Eve-Yasmine met Blastermind a music producer from France, previously singed with Hollywood producer RedOne who worked with big stars such as Lady Gaga, Usher and Nicki Minaj. Their collaboration ultimately sparked off her music career. With their video for their original song “No Matter What They Say” reaching over 16,000 views on YouTube and being retweeted by RedOne who wrote “WOW EVE!” Blastermind has featured Eve-Yasmine on his track “Gimme Love” which received airplay in Morocco’s biggest radio station Hit Radio without even a release!

With lots of support from BBC Asian Network in the past month Eve-Yasmine has been chosen as Yasser’s BBC Introducing Artist, Kan D Man & DJ Limelight’s Spotlight Artist and “One To Watch For 2014”.
She has performed at The Garage London, The Spirit Of London Awards Showcase, The Arabelles Beauty Contest Finals as well as performing at her first festival on the headline stage at Spancirfest in Croatia with CK Gospel Choir last September. Eve-Yasmine has also co-wrote the title track Talk To Me Brother for short film Pass The Comb alongside guitarist Robin Banerjee who worked with Amy Winhouse. The reggae version also features Francesco Mendolia (Incognito) and Jean Berthon (French Musical Director).

Her latest collaboration with Blastermind is a feature on his Blastermind Experience series for ‘Out Of My Mind’: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1r4WG6DyemA&feature=youtu.be
