I know I usually write about fashion event’s in London but let’s not be ignorant about fashion events in other countries ok? So this Sunday in New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art held spring exhibition ” PUNK: Choas to Couture” . This time let’s concentrate on what have celebrities decided to wear for this event. Here you have my opinions on who wore the right garment and who didn’t.
Rooney Mara in Givenchy
Dark make up and white elegant Givenchy dress? Defiantly yes! White dress is ideal for an elegant gala and dark make up give’s the punk look ideal for this event.
Anja Rubik in Anthony Vocallero Custom made dress
What could be more punk than red leather and chain’s?
Dakota Fanning in Rodarte
Black elegant dress but bit reveling is only for an young actress without any scandals.
Taylor Swift in J.Mendel
I’m not a huge fan of her or her music but I am a fan of this dress! It’s fab!
Amanda Seyfried in Vintage Givenchy
Elegant cut and busy pattern. Not the typical punk dress but next to the red carpet it looks “bad ass”.
Aubrey Plaza in
Marios Schwab dress with Barbara Bui heels.
Snake pattern is the one, as long as it’s not real.
I always thought Ashley was the “bad” dressed twin but this dress changed my mind.
Vivienne Westwood gown, Casadei shoes, Ferragamo bag, Harry Winston jewelry
If there is a punk gala you can only wear a tartan Vivienne Westwood dress!
Gisele Bunchen in Anthony Vocallero F/W 13 dress
Looks like Anthony Vocallero is popular in the celebrity circle and who could blame him?!
Anna Hathaway in Valentino
Short hair cut next to elegant black gown is punk enough for me!
Emma Watson in Prabal Gurung.
Minimalistic. Elegant. And absolutely stunning! If it would be me I would wear some bracelet’s but the dress it self just give’s enough attention.
Katy Perry in Dolce & Gabbana
I’d say never mix print’s embellishment and shiny fabric’s but with this dress I’ll make an exception.
Rita Ora in Thakoon dress and necklace, Cartier jewelry and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.
Who said white couldn’t be punk clearly has no idea what right accessories and make up can do!
Rose Huntingtion- Whitely in Gucci
Gold and black are both elegant and edgy. Just the ideal look for this event!
Cara Delevigne in Bulberry
Stud’s are defiantly punk and the dress make’s them look less dangerous.
Blake Lively in Gucci Premiere
Black fur skirt isn’t really Spring/Summer look but it looks great on the read carpet for the Punk exhibition.
Karlie Kloss in Louis Vuitton
As much as Karlie is beautiful model this dress and make up made her look like a grandma.
Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs
Nicki Minaj in Tommy Hilfiger
I’ve never liked Nicki’s Minaj’s outfit’s and this one doesn’t change my mind.
Mary-Kate Olsen Vintage Chanel
I guess Mary-Kate is the badly dressed twin in the family.
Sarah Jessica Parker in a headpiece by Phillip Treacy and dress by Giles Deacon.
Ashley Greene in Marchesa gown with Harry Wintson jewels
This dress might look beautiful on 6″ tall model but on petite Ashley it’s just adding some weight on her and I don’t think that’s the look she was going for.
Maggie Gyllenhaal in Calvin Klein
Kim Kardashian in Riccardo Tisci
If you want to wear printed flower dress, lose some weight or chose another one.
Madonna in Givenchy and Casadei shoes
Nice outfit. For a teenager. I’m sorry but Madonna should have picked out something more appropriate for her age group.
Nicole Richie in Topshop.
Dress, 100% yes! However. What’s up with the hair?!
Kate Upton in Diane von Furstenberg
If Kate was going for the look “pay attention to me” she has succeeded. The color really can be seen.
In your opinion who wore they’re outfit right and you just should you fire their stylist?
Let me know in the comments.
